FedRAMP Certification Class B

During the transition through 31 December 2026, Class B is paired with the earlier Low impact label. Certification does not replace an agency ATO.

Educational resource only. scm.cc is not a FedRAMP Recognized Independent Assessor (3PAO) and is not FedRAMP-authorized; it grants no authorization, certification, or assessment outcome. FedRAMP.gov is the authoritative source. This is not legal advice.

Technical detail

The CR26 KSI catalog does not currently mark indicators specifically for Class B (empty class arrays except five Class C markers). Treat unmarked indicators as unmarked, not as Class B-required.

How to implement

Read the Certification reference and the KSI catalog on FedRAMP.gov. Pairing with Low is a transition convenience, not a permanent definition.

KSI catalog class markers

No CR26 catalog indicators are marked for Class B. Unmarked is not the same as required or not required.
